Week 3 Day 1 Done!

I'm trying to catch this blog up as quickly as possible!

Yesterday, we completed Chest & Back/Ab Ripper X.  It was a great workout.  I can feel myself being able to knock out more and more pushups!

Pullups continue to be a bother, but I'm persistent with the pull up bar.  I previously completed 15 reps on the pull up exercises, and managed to push myself to do 20 this time around.  My goal is to complete one regular pull up by end of month to gauge where I'm at strength-wise!

Had some problems with the diet this weekend as we had family over.  BBQ was in full swing, and I managed to eat my fair share of carne asada!  Although I'm disappointed, I have no one to blame but myself and now I can identify how much I can eat without overeating.  But as of yesterday, I'm back on target with the diet, eating my normal routine, and consuming my target 1900 calories each day.

I just got a text from the wife's cousin:  Are we on for today?  I reply with a hardy "YES! PLYOMETRICS!!!"  I'm looking forward to the jump training and burning more "goo" off my body!

This morning, I weighed myself to see where I'm at, and I was disappointed to learn that I am at 223 pounds.  On Saturday, I was at 221.  Apparently, my deeds from the BBQ this weekend are paying me back with 2 pounds gained on the scale.

Disappointing for sure, but I'm still determined to stick with my diet and continue pressing on!  Will update you all tomorrow on how Plyometrics went!
